YEEZY 3 HANDBOOK
WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE
This guide is a constant work in progress and is subject to change.
If you have any further questions, feel free to contact staff on discord.
- SECTION 0: What is Yeezy 3?
Yeezy 3 is the third iteration of the Yeezy 'When Worlds Collide' series. Unlike other WWC servers however, Yeezy's focus will not be on script collection or flavor-of-the-month style setting changes. Instead, Yeezy 3 will follow a cohesive story within a cold, desolate universe where the primary focus of roleplaying is survival. Tossed into a world of lawlessness and depravity, player's characters will be challenged physically and morally in order to persist on a day-by-day basis. Risk will be rewarded, cleverness will be praised, advantage will be exploited, and stupidity will be punished. Presented with limitless situations and interactions, the player's characters will be left to choose. All in the name of survival, coexistence, or conflict?
- SECTION 1: Meta
- THINGS ARE GRIM
Characters are going to die. Environments will be harsh. Events will be cruel. This server is not merely an outlet to play something from your favorite universe and flex on other players. Yeezy 3 will follow a cohesive, structured story that will more often than not present a cruel, somber tone. Survival will be key, whether that means coexistence, or conflict. Hunger, thirst, and resources are the name of the game. Everything happens for a reason, and every action will have consequences.
- RULES CHANGE:
Rules are subject to change as the server builds itself over time, and you are expected to follow them. We will make the player-base aware through announcements when a rule as been added or changed. Understand that you can be removed from the community for things completely unrelated to the set of rules if the staff team finds you to be manipulative or intentionally annoying. Your acceptance into the community does not guarantee your longevity and can be revoked at any time. Be mindful of the rules and other players.
- POWER CAP
Despite the server’s attention being mostly drawn upon things like matter manipulation, healing ability, and repairing ability, a power cap is still in place. Leniency systems are in place for those that have proven themselves to be more trustworthy with said power. While it is not a publicly documented system, fair roleplaying and ease of understanding will result in a greater trust in your ability to play characters with greater power.
- POWER SCALING
Yeezy 3 features a dynamic power scaling system, in which characters with higher power will face greater odds. Lower power characters caught in these conflicts will often be given moderate grace when entering these high power scenarios before put at the mercy of the event’s GM. Lower power characters as a collective will receive similarly difficult odds, but scaled accordingly. Do not be afraid to play lower powered characters, but be warned when playing powerful ones. This is not to be taken IC.
- SECTION 2: Etiquette
- PLAY FAIR
At the end of the day, all the people playing are just like you. Real people behind a computer screen, just wanting to have fun in a videogame. Don't meta or power game. Know that all IC matters are strictly IC. Be mindful of how you behave ooc, and do not let ooc relations get a hold of how you handle yourself IC.
- ANTAGONIST
The concept of creating an antagonistic character is not frowned upon, but we expect you not to take advantage of this. Do not create an antagonistic character just to target players you do not enjoy oocly, as this is a quick way to earn a ban. Utilize the character’s antagonistic nature to create unique and interesting plot developments for yourself as well as other characters.
- EVERYTHING IS IC
All actions are taken IC, and are strictly that. Things like minge running, jumping along something and falling off, etc, will be considered in-character and punished ic accordingly. Ex: Minge running along a cliff, falling off, and falling to your inevitable PK. Exercise self restraint.
- ASSPULL
If it was not on your app, or you did not obtain it IC, you do not have the item. This offense is far more common than others and will earn a warning before elevating to a ban upon multiple offenses.
- SECTION 3: Survival
- HUNGER + THIRST
Hunger and thirst are not to be determined by the player neither in-game or via application. As a player, you are expected to roleplay the status of these hunger/thirst statistics accordingly. As you grow more thirsty/hungry, your character becomes weaker and more willing to get the supplies they need. While this is entirely up to interpretation, do not take advantage of the leniency we provide in how your roleplay. No character is excluded from this, and refusing to rp out your statistic will result in a warning, then character ban.
- DEHYDRATION + STARVATION
Upon reaching 0 hunger or thirst, your character will enter a state of paralysis in which they become so weak that they cannot move. Unless the technology is extremely advanced, no amount of healing or medical aid will save the character, as the character has become so energy and vitamin deficiency that their immune system has completely failed, and either kwashiorkor disease (protein deficiency) or marasmus (energy deficiency) will take their life in less than one (ooc) hour. In total, these two certain deadly diseases will bring an end to the character, resulting in a permanent death.
- AMMUNITION
Players will have to create their own ammunition once they run out unless an option to buy ammunition is available. If the character doesn’t have the knowledge required to make their own ammo, they may be subject to mis-fires should they attempt it. Be mindful of your ammunition count. This information is requested upon application, but we place faith in our players to count it themselves. Staff will often be watching, avoid asspulling.
- SECTION 4: Building
- RESOURCES
Resources are a key focus with this iteration. Nothing can be built without properly gathering the resources prior. This is included but not limited to: Fortifications, Crafting items, Smithing, etc. If you did not rp collecting the resources of the structure or item, it is not ic and cannot be made. If you did not rp crafting the item or structure, it is not ic and cannot be made. This aspect will be heavily moderated, so be mindful of what you are making and how. Furthermore, we place faith in our playerbase to be able to handle basic levels of crafting without admin supervision, but if a larger structure or item is being made, we highly recommend you contact staff for verification.
